- Around 3 months old your baby will start practising rocking by bringing both legs together and rolling onto one side or by twisting her body.
- When you first notice your baby is keen to rock onto her side, encourage her by giving her a helping hand.And help her tip over onto a soft surface. It will be easier at first to roll from her stomach onto her back.
- You can make this into a fun game and this will also help her neck and back muscles grow stronger.
- Your baby’s head control is much better whether she is lying on her tummy or on her back and she will probably be able to raise her head to 45 degrees giving her a better view of her surroundings.
